Description:
Heavily advertisement by spam (unsolisicited email advertisement); phoning home on program start; silently installing updates and content (meaning advertisement) into your system. Those applications may even come from third parties. No limitation is made about this 'value-added' content, meaning the license allows them to install any spyware into your system without your knowledge. In addition, using the program isn't safe - LSP hijackers get removed, but the Winsock not fixed so you would loose your internet connections. Uses a stolen Spybot-S&D database and is therefore a copyright infringement.

Removal Instructions:

Desktop:

Please remove the following files from your desktop.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.
  • Shortcuts that include "spynuker.exe" in the target they point to.

Start Menu:

Please remove the following items from your start menu.
To check where they are pointing to, right-click them and choose "Properties" from the context menu appearing.
  • Groups named "Spyware Nuker".

Installed Software List:

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D or RunAlyzer to locate and get rid of these entries.
  • Products that are named "SpywareNuker".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.
  • A file with an unknown location named "SpyWareNukerInstaller.exe".
  • The file at "<$WINDIR>\..\Program files\Blazing Logic\SpyNukerSetup.exe".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If SpywareNuker uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Folders:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these folders.
  • The directory at "c:\program files\Trek Blue".
  • The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Trek Blue".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If SpywareNuker uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify folders!

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.
  • Delete the registry key "SPYNUKER.exe" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\".
  • Delete the registry key "SPYWARE NUKER" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\".
  • Delete the registry key "SOFTUP2009" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\".
If SpywareNuker uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
