You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D or RunAlyzer to locate and get rid of these entries.
  • Products that have a key or property named "UCmore - The Search Accelerator".
  • Products that have a key or property named "UCmore".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\TheSearchAccelerator\UCMTSAIE.dll".
  • The file at "c:\ucmoreiex.exe".
  • A file with an unknown location named "ucmoreiex.exe".
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\wav to mp3 encoder\UcmorelEx.exe".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If UCmore uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

  • A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "IUCmore.UCmoreTsaApp", plus associated values.
  • A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "IUCmore.UCmoreTsaApp.1", plus associated values.
  • Delete the registry key "{3131A8D2-D92C-48BA-96AC-8A77D6A1D573}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
  • Delete the registry key "Effective-i" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
  • Delete the registry key "{44BE0690-5429-47f0-85BB-3FFD8020233E}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Maxthon\Plugin\toolbar\".
  • Delete the registry key "Effective-i" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\".
  • Delete the registry value "{44BE0690-5429-47F0-85BB-3FFD8020233E}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser\".
  • Delete the registry value "{44BE0690-5429-47f0-85BB-3FFD8020233E}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\".
  • Delete the registry key "{44BE0690-5429-47F0-85BB-3FFD8020233E}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • Delete the registry value "{44BE0690-5429-47f0-85BB-3FFD8020233E}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\".
  • Delete the registry key "UCmore" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
  • Delete the registry key "UCmore" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\".
  • Delete the registry value "ucid" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\".
  • Delete the registry key "{ED8DB0FD-D8F4-4b2c-BB5B-9EF040FE104D}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
  • A key with a likely random name in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\ that has "UCmore Toolbar" as its default value data.
If UCmore uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.

Browser:
