Ghostlogger gets startet by the system startup and runs in the background of windows. It records all keystrokes and tries to spy on passwords from the user.

Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.
  • Entries named "Synchronization Agent" and pointing to ""<$PROGRAMFILES>\Sync Manager Demo\agent\syncagent.exe"".
  • Entries named "Synchronization Agent" and pointing to ""<$PROGRAMFILES>\Sync Manager\agent\syncagent.exe"".
  • Entries named "Synchronization Agent" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Sync Manager\agent\syncagent.exe".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Sync Manager Demo\faq.html".
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Sync Manager Demo\logfile.cip".
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Sync Manager Demo\manual.html".
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Sync Manager Demo\syncconfig.exe".

You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!
