Description:
SpyBossPro installs to the program files directory and runs silently in the background. It records all keystrokes without user consent and thus makes it possible to spy on the user.

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.
  • The file at "<$STARTMENU>\Programs\Gear Box Computers Software\SpyBoss Pro Demo\Readme-Help.lnk".
  • The file at ""<$STARTMENU>\Programs\Gear Box Computers Software\SpyBoss Pro Demo\SpyBoss Pro Demo.lnk"".
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\SBP Demo\SBPDemo.exe".
  • The file at "<$STARTMENU>\Programs\Gear Box Computers Software\SpyBoss Pro Demo\Readme-Help.lnk".
  • The file at "<$STARTMENU>\Programs\Gear Box Computers Software\SpyBoss Pro Demo\SpyBoss Pro Demo.lnk".
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\SBP Demo\EventScheduler.mdb".

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If SpyBossPro uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.

Folders:

  • The directory at "<$STARTMENU>\Programs\Gear Box Computers Software\SpyBoss Pro".
  • The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\SBP Demo".
  • The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\SBP".
  • The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\SpyBoss Pro".

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.
  • Delete the registry key "SpyBoss Pro" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\".
  • Delete the registry key "Gear Box Computers" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\".
If SpyBossPro uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
