Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.
  • The file at "<$LOCALSETTINGS>\Temp\1.tmp.exe".
  • The file at "<$WINDIR>\logs1.ini".
  • The file at "<$WINDIR>\stub1.ini".
  • The file at "<$WINDIR>\sysga32.dll".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\euwij.dll".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\qzqbi.dat".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\syswi32.exe".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\utmzy.dat".
  • The file at "<$WINDIR>\mshp.dll".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\mshp.dll".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If CoolWWWSearch.HomeSearch uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.

  • Delete the registry key "{01D0407C-A6A2-1680-A3D0-0B56233F44AA}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • Delete the registry key "{67ADE16C-B27A-4D2A-AF83-0FAF2B883B92}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • Delete the registry value "{77CD07F8-A38B-CE97-3BE3-ACA2372FEC6C}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\URLSearchHooks\".
  • Delete the registry value "{3BC70B1A-80CF-0963-146D-DC7432095A47}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\URLSearchHooks\".
