Contrary to HotPhrase, the SpeedPhrase homepage contains no privacy policy at all, and installation of SpeedPhrase deletes all other registered Browser Helper Objects!

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.
  • Delete the registry value "eepelkjedknhdppomifbalcigephpbhm eepdkmjhaciaefhkhbfdldpbnjpfkghp" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WinTrust\Trust Providers\Software Publishing\Trust Database\0\".
  • Delete the registry key "{45C53868-BEFE-4C7E-BABF-A78B21445C01}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
  • Delete the registry key "OPTIONS" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AdvancedOptions\SEARCHING\".
  • Delete the registry key "{45C53868-BEFE-4C7E-BABF-A78B21445C01}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions\".
  • Delete the registry key "{45C53868-BEFE-4C7E-BABF-A78B21445C01}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
If SpeedPhrase uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
