    Default slow computer

    Hello,
my computer is really slow and therefor I'm suspecting that I have some files infected and also I have some kind of program that creates links in homepages where there shold not be a link. that one I wold like to remove but I don't know how.
I always seems like there is a lot uf programs running even if there noone "opened", please help me indicate what programs I can remove without loosing information on my computer.
I also have a lot of pop-ups that says that I have new updates fom "liveUpdate" and I don't know if it's save. Can I eliminae these pop-ups or shold I do the update?

Thanks a lot for you time
    /Matilda

    Hi Matilda

IMPORTANT I notice there are signs of one or more P2P (Peer to Peer) File Sharing Programs on your computer.

    Kazaa

I'd like you to read the this thread.

Please go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the programs listed above (in red).

    Delete these folders afterwards:

    C:\Program\Kazaa
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\P2P Networking

    Empty Recycle Bin.

    After that:

Please visit this webpage for download links, and instructions for running ComboFix tool:

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/comb...o-use-combofix

Please ensure you read this guide carefully and install the Recovery Console first.

The Windows Recovery Console will allow you to boot up into a special recovery (repair) mode. This allows us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware. It is a simple procedure that will only take a few moments of your time.

Once installed, you should see a blue screen prompt that says:

The Recovery Console was successfully installed.

    Please continue as follows:

    1. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix, link
      Remember to re-enable them afterwards.

    2. Click Yes to allow ComboFix to continue scanning for malware.

When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.

Please include the following reports for further review, and so we may continue cleansing the system:

    C:\ComboFix.txt
    New HijackThis log.

A word of warning: Neither I nor sUBs are responsible for any damage you may have caused your machine by running ComboFix. This tool is not a toy and not for everyday use.
