    Default New to S&D...problems already!!!!

I've just got hold of S&D and trying to get the updates is confusing. Every mirror that I try reports "bad checksum".

    Any suggestions?

"Bad Checksum" problems are usually caused by overloaded download servers.

To change download servers and for a workaround for "Bad Checksum" errors please see:

Note: The download server can be changed after the "Search for Updates" and before clicking "Download Updates". So if you find a server that works well, you can start by using that server in the future. Also note that if you want (not necessarily recommended) you can select a server and then right click on the button and "Set this server as the preferred download location". If you do that Spybot will select that sever rather than a random server for future updates.

Yeah but I've found that happens 4 out of 5 times.

So you're telling me the normal process for updating SS&D is THIS?:

    1 Click [Update]
    2 Click [Search for Updates]
    3 Wait 10 minutes
4 Write down on a post-it what server that was
    5 Select another server
6 repeat steps 3-5 untill the update takes

Not to mention if I set it to update on app start, and to start on bootup, I have to check EACH TIME if the update took or not.

Isn't there a way to make SS&D try different servers if one fails?

Default download an exe from the web

A site named MajorGeeks has it. They have four servers in the US.
