Default Firefox keeps showing same malwares.

Hello. This is my first time here, so please forgive me if I haven't done this properly. I have read the sticky and used HJT on my laptop.

I am writing to report that I have Internet Explorer on my laptop and spybot never reports malware after using it.

But after downloading Firefox from mozilla.com, and then from filehippo after uninstalling the mozilla.com version, spybot always reports the same malwares after using the firefox browser, and spybot clears them effortlessly.

    They are:

    AdRevolver
    Adviva
    BlueStreak
    BurstMedia
    CasaleMedia
    DoubleClick
    FastClick
    HitBox
    HitsLink
    MediaPlex
    Right Media
    Statcounter
    WebTrends live

and it says "Browser" under the "Kind" heading.

Is this inevitable with using Firefox, or are these always showing up for another unrelated reason?

    Are they false positives?

Is the simplest thing to do just to only use Internet Explorer, if no malware is reported from that browser?

Am I at risk from these malwares, or is it ok to use firefox, and clear them after each use with spybot?

My copy of Kaspersky AntiVirus 2009 reports nothing on Full Scan.

    Here is the HJT:

    Default Thanks P S Kelly

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to so thoroughly advise me that I was worrying unnecessarily - they were just cookie reports!

I am much obliged to you, but I worry slightly that I've kinda wasted your time.

    Anyway, thanks for being there.

Have a real fine Christmas - you deserve it!

    Thanks and kind regards,
    CamKC
