should I use ComboFix?

I have the stupid Virtumonde crap on my computer at work. I have already sent in my HijackThis log, and have not received a response yet.
I have tried to get rid of the thing and can not.
I have seen that the recommendation to others has been to use ComboFix, is that what I should use as well?

Desperate to get this off of my work computer...
