Thread: Virtumonde and SmitFraud

    My computer is infected with a persistent virtumonde, virtumonde.generic, and smitfraud. Neither spybot nor symantec is able to clean my system.

    I would really appreciate some help. Thanks in advance and, if it's appropriate, happy holidays.

    also, if this is helpful -- I believe that I've found a file related to the infection.

    It's C:\WINDOWS\system32\cbXRHwwW.dll

    It's linked to both explorer.exe and winlogon.exe, so I can't delete it.
