    Default Can't uninstall spybot

I uninstalled spybot yesterday but I still keep getting a pop up from spybot that askes me to allow or deny change.I found a spybot folder in my computer and I tried to delete it but it said access denied can't access advert (forget the name of the file)

    How do I uninstall it?

See HERE and make sure you un-immunize and turn off the Tea Timer BEFORE un-installing.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I think that the Resident Shield component was still installed even though Spybot itself was uninstalled. I guess the only way is to reinstall and disable TeaTimer (Spybot>Advanced Mode>Tools>Resident>Untick both boxes>Uninstall).

sending_link, do you plan to uninstall Spybot-Search&Destroy completely and update it or do you plan not to use it in the future?

No, I do not plan to use it in the future.

Yes, the link that Tom K. gave you should be enough for a complete removal. I would suggest you reinstall Spybot, disable the TeaTimer component, uninstall, and reboot.

    That did the trick.

    Thanks for the help.
