C:\VundoFix Backups <<< delete that folder and contents

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
    http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
    Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

*Cleaning Prefetch may result in a few slow starts until the folder is repopulated:
    http://www.windowsnetworking.com/art...efetch-XP.html

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your Desktop
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/

    * Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
    * Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
    * If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
    * Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
    * When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
    * Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
    * When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
    * Please post contents of that file & a new HJT log in your next reply.

Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts. Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately. Failure to reboot will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware.

    Tutorial if needed:

How is the computer running now, any malware issues?

    Thanks

Thank you so much for your help! I did find a few things with malware bytes (most of which were already in the combofix quarantine) but after I ran that I was able to connect to the websites that were previously being disconnected/having issues and my symptoms were gone. I scanned with my spyware doctor ( just a quick intelli-scan) and all it found were registry keys, some of which i think were for combofix and all were low threat, so it is MUCH better now!! I am running a full scan of both my Nod32 and my Spyware doctor so I will let you know if its all clear.

Also at this point is it alright to remove combofix and its related files from my machine?

I keep missing the part about posting a new log because my job is to fix computers for the school district all day and I go on autopilot once someone tells me to run something...I know you hate me by now but thank you for putting up with me regardless, this is really stressing me out that I keep missing the directions...this has never happened to me.

and as far as how it is running currently and if there are any malware issues thats what I answered in the first post or at least that is what I tried to answer-

all previous symptons are gone, other than the files that mbam detected+removed it looks fine to me.

but as I said in the post before this there was no log for Malware Bytes, I do remember it popping up at the end of the scan but it did not saved to the mbam folder / logs

Remove combofix from the computer like this:

    Click START then RUN
Now type or copy Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK.
Note the space between the X and the U, it needs to be there.

Clean the System Restore files like this:

    Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
    Click Properties.
    Click the System Restore tab.
    Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

    Reboot

    Turn ON System Restore,
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
    Click Properties.
    Click the System Restore tab.
    UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Update MBAM and scan to be sure we missed none of the junk, there is no need to post a clean scan result.
(MBAM is yours to keep if you wish, update it and run it once a month or so)

Update ESET NOD32 Antivirus and scan the system, to be sure it is running right and scanning clean. If you have problems with the program, contact tech support for instructions.

If all is well at this point, let me know and I will close the topic.

My spyware doctor did an auto-scan on startup and found remnants of combofix (I followed your steps exactly on the uninstall). I just think its funny that spyware doctor even finds it, "A legitimate application" it says among other things on the scan :P regardless, im going to update (check for rather) both nod 32 and MBAM and scan both, I will let you know how it goes! thanks :D
