My system is infected with Antivirus 2009.

My system is infected with Anitvirus 2009 maleware. It randomly pop ups windows in both IE and Firefox. It also keeps on displaying a dialog box telling me that my system is infected and I need to install this software to get rid of the viruses.

I have tried to run Malewarebytes Anti-Maleware but get a 'runtime error 9, subscript out of range' when I try to scan.

I have windows XP on my system.
