    Default Spybot settings transfer

Is there a simple way to transfer or export/import all of my Spybot settings so I can easily duplicate my Spybot settings on a different computer?

    Thanks.

No. There is no "... way to transfer or export/import all of ..." your "... Spybot settings ..." from one system to another. Some settings can be transfered but many can not. Specifically what settings are you interested in transferring?

Settings for some of the settings in Spybot's GUI are stored in Spybot's Configuration.ini file and the control of the immunization checked/not check list items are stored in the Immunization.ini file.

By default the Configuration.ini and Immunization.ini files are stored in one of the following folders:
    • Windows 95 or 98:
      C:\Windows\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy
    • Windows ME:
      C:\Windows\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy
    • Windows NT, 2000 or XP:
      C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy
    • Vista:
      C:\ProgramData\Spybot - Search & Destroy

You should be able to copy those files from one system to another. However, settings like scan exclusions (Ignore products, Ignore single, Ignore cookies, Ignore file extensions, etc.) as well as TeaTimer's Black and White list entries can not be transfered.

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.
