The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Win32.Agent.hc" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
Win32.Agent.hc copies several malicious files into the System32 and Windows directory of the operating system and gets launched by some autorun entries. When the computer is infected with Win32.Agent.hc a spambot will get active and use the computer for sending unwanted spam mails.
Removal Instructions:

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.
  • Entries named "[system]" and pointing to "<$SYSDIR>\drivers\services.exe".
  • Entries named "winlogon" and pointing to "<$PROFILE>\svchost.exe".
  • Entries named "Online-Dienste" and pointing to "<$WINDIR>\*.exe".
  • Entries named "Outlook Express" and pointing to "<$WINDIR>\*.exe".

Installed Software List:

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D or RunAlyzer to locate and get rid of these entries.
  • Products that have a key or property named "{474FE679-B667-42ae-99AA-ADC21CCBBE14}".
  • Products that have a key or property named "{625B529F-9E03-4475-9F3D-33F9B7B410F2}".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Microsoft Common\svchost.exe".
  • The file at "<$PROFILE>\svchost.exe".
  • The file at "<$LOCALSETTINGS>\Temp\lsas".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\trash43EE51".
  • The file at "<$SYSDIR>\avifil3.dll".
  • The file at "<$WINDIR>\ZRRADBBI.exe".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Win32.Agent.hc uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.
  • Delete the registry key "Service_ICF" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\".
  • Delete the registry key "Service_ICF" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Services\".
  • Delete the registry key "Service_ICF" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet003\Services\".
  • Delete the registry key "{B0F3FB4A-D10F-4CB1-81F6-AAB28BABEC88}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
  • Delete the registry key "{B0F3FB4A-D10F-4CB1-81F6-AAB28BABEC88}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • Remove "<$SYSDIR>\drivers\services.exe" from registry value "Userinit" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\".
If Win32.Agent.hc uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
