Question Resident part of SB S&D

When I reboot my computer and get back to the Desktop, I get an ICON in the systray for the resident part of the program. How can I go about disabling this??? with my setup, I don't have a use for it AND it is taking up Memory space that could be used for something else.

Thanks and Keep up the good work. I use S & D alot!

    byteful:

Go into Spybot » Mode » Advanced Mode (answer "Yes" the Advanced Mode "Warning" dialog if necessary) » Tools » Resident. Under the heading "Resident protection status" you will see:
    • Resident "SDHelper" (Internet Explorer bad download blocker) active.
    • Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of over-all system settings) active.

    Uncheck:
    • Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of over-all system settings) active.

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.
