    Default aws weatherbug problems

Having a few problems with the weatherbug bug.
    1. Can't remove in the "add/remove programs" box just get message cannot open INSTALL.LOG file
    2. When I click on the support info ilnk for the I get directed to google or firefoxes warning site that says it is a reported attack site.
    3. It pops up wanting to be registered, even though I don't ask to use it

I want to get it of my computer even if it is not really malicious because according to the report it may be used by other malicious sites to gain entry. Plus when it was installed before, it seemed like a real memory hog.

Here is my Hijack this file. Not sure if anything will show up here but if you can help me get it off my system anyway I'd appreciate it.

Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.
"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance) http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

I apologize for the wait, volunteers are swamped at all forums with infected computers. If you have resolved your issues, please post to let me know so I can close this topic.

If you still need help, and you have read and followed the "Before you Post" directions, post a new HJT log since it has been five days, and I will take a look, please describe any recent symptoms.

Probably not where you should be posting since this is not a malware issue and many people are waiting with malware issues. If you will read the directions and follow them, that includes disabling TeaTimer as directed, then post a new HJT log, I will take a look.

Post also an uninstall list: Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
    Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

Thanks for the reply. I have not yet figured out how to remove the program, but since there is no threat, I'm sure I can handle it. I appreciate how busy you all are and thank you for all you do.

Thanks for letting me know, I wanted a look to see if AWS Weatherbug was still installed, that's why I asked to see the uninstall list.
Sometimes a program needs to be reinstalled first, then uninstalled. You can also try deleting the folder here: c:\Program Files\AWS <<< folder. If the program is running, see if you can shut it down in Task Manager or boot to safe mode and delete the folder there.
