Exclamation Ugh all sorts of Trojans!

I'm cleaning my friends computer to the best of my knowledge, and not having too much luck. I installed malwarebytes for him last month, which cleaned out quite a few trojans, and he didn't have any problems for awhile up until now.
He runs Spybot, Avast, and Malwarebytes, Spybot has been going nuts with "DCOM Exploit attacks", I did a full search through windows and thorough scan with avast, it came up with a lot viruses all with names like Trojan.Zapchast, Win32:Holmes, Win32 Trojan, none of these programs are getting rid of it!
Malwarebytes doesn't even detect these anymore, normally it's always been a really great program. Anyways here's my HijackThis Log

    Any help would be appreciated!

I'd just like to note that yes I do have permission from the user of this computer to be cleaning it, and seeking tech advice.

    Hi Deftonesgrl

Please download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and save it to your desktop.
    alternate download link 1
    alternate download link 2
    • Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
    • Double-click on mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
    • When the installation begins, follow the prompts and do not make any changes to default settings.
    • When installation has finished, make sure you leave both of these checked:
      • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
      • Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • Then click Finish.
    • MBAM will automatically start and you will be asked to update the program before performing a scan. If an update is found, the program will automatically update itself. Press the OK button to close that box and continue. If you encounter any problems while downloading the updates, manually download them from here and just double-click on mbam-rules.exe to install.
    • On the Scanner tab:
      • Make sure the "Perform Full Scan" option is selected.
      • Then click on the Scan button.
    • If asked to select the drives to scan, leave all the drives selected and click on the Start Scan button.
    • The scan will begin and "Scan in progress" will show at the top. It may take some time to complete so please be patient.
    • When the scan is finished, a message box will say "The scan completed successfully. Click 'Show Results' to display all objects found".
    • Click OK to close the message box and continue with the removal process.
    • Back at the main Scanner screen, click on the Show Results button to see a list of any malware that was found.
    • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
    • When removal is completed, a log report will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to restart your computer. (see Note below)
    • The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
    • Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply and exit MBAM.
Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts. Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately. Failure to reboot will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware.

    • Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
    • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
    • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
    • Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (<<will be maximized) and info.txt (<<will be minimized)

IMPORTANT I notice there are signs of one or more P2P (Peer to Peer) File Sharing Programs on your computer.

    Azureus Vuze
    LimeWire 4.18.1

I'd like you to read the this thread.

Please go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the programs listed above (in red).

    Uninstall also this:

    Ask Toolbar

    Delete info.txt from c:\rsit folder.

Please run a new HJT scan when finished and post the log back here.

    Default yikes

o.k so the only problem with this is, is that the owner of the computer has requested that he'd like to use these programs. Any way around this?

Owner can use those programs but then cleaning will stop and this thread will get archived as those programs are against forum policy to which I linked in my previous reply and which is not open to debate

So owner will need to decide between using those programs and cleaning computer from malware.

    Let me know the decision.
