Hello. System seems to be running ok except IE. Whenver I try to download something (like atf cleaner) it will stop responding. I can surf websites and use email apps with no problems. When I try to exit IE it also just stops responding. I've checked for updates with windows with no luck. Also when I looked at the add/remove programs there is one called "Internet Antivirus (1.1.2.0)". Should I remove it?

It has been removed. I've been helping my friend clean his computer. (the one we've been working on) I'm trying to talk him into one of the other browsers. What about the findings in Kaspersky? Thanks for your continued time and help.

You can ignore Kaspersky finding there

We can now uninstall ComboFix:

• Click START then RUN
• Now type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK

Let me know how're things working with other browser (in case your friend installs one).

When I run that command it pops up with an error of "Windows cannot find 'Combofix'. Make sure you typed the name properly, and then try again." I did a copy/paste.
