    Question hijacked by xxfindxx and heavy.com

    please help if you can.

    my ie has recently become hijacked when i use google.
    clicking on search results takes me to xxfindxx.com or heavy.com
    i've been told to download hjt which has scanned my system,
    but i don't know what to do with the scan results?

    thank you very much for your response.
    i updated my adaware installation and found a malware entry with a tai of 10.
    that gone - so has my google problem.

    however when i ran symantec antivirus i found a problem with smss.exe which can neither be quarantined nor cleaned.

    any ideas you have would be greatly appreciated.
