I've been having random reboots of my PC lately. I cannot figure out a pattern. At first I thought my power supply was failing, but if I connect my PC to my company's VPN, I can run over 24 hours every time. My PC NEVER has the random reboot when I'm running VPN to my company. That doesn't isolate the problem, but it does tell me that my power supply isn't the problem.

Anyhow, while the reboots are random, one thing I have found is that I can reproduce it every time when I run Spybot Search & Destroy Check For Problems. I tried totally deleting all virus/spyware programs (including Spybot) and reinstalling just Spybot and running a Check For Problems when booted up in Windows Safe Mode with my network cable unplugged. Reboots every time.

I'm on Windows XP Service Pack 3. Any clues, guidance on what I should try next? Thanks,
