The only things I notice are:

1. When I am typing a long message, its almost like there's a delay between me typing and the letters showing up, and sometimes the delay causes the letters I am typing not to show up at all. I never had this problem before.

2. I can't get the clock to change back from 24 hr time, to 12 hr.

Other than that, all of the security alerts, and browser hijacks have stopped.

For 2., go to start - run

Type combofix /u and click OK. Let me know if it helped.

I tried that, but all I get is an error message saying that windows cannot find 'combofix'.

My bad, we didn't use it.

Please go to Control Panel and Time and Date and try to change format from there.

I had already tried that. For some reason, now it only gives me the option to adjust the time, but not the format. It really doesn't bug me that much, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't the effects of some sort of malware.
