You are apparently running an old version of Spybot. Try to upgrade to Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.6.2.46. The downloads for the most resent version of Spybot are located here:

If that does not work, consider posting in the Malware Removal forum and having someone take a look at your system.

If you decide to have an experienced malware removal specialist assist you, please follow the procedure in this link and produce a HijackThis log:

• "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance).

After you have read those instructions, start your own thread in the Malware Removal forum, making sure to post the HijackThis log produced from those instructions.

hello,

im sorry for not creating a seperate topic for this but i didn't want to flood the board with similar problems.

My Spybot (latest version, with all updates) doesn't open, so I went in program files>Spybot and found the .scr file that when clicked on, opens up Spybot.

However, this does not solve problem - malware still exists right?

So what do I do now?
