Note: If you are using Windows Vista, open your browser by right-clicking on its icon and select ''Run as administrator'' to perform this scan.

1. Read through the requirements and privacy statement and click on Accept button.
2. It will start downloading and installing the scanner and virus definitions. You will be prompted to install an application from Kaspersky. Click Run.
3. When the downloads have finished, click on Settings.
4. Make sure these boxes are checked (ticked). If they are not, please tick them and click on the Save button:

There were two issues that I was experiencing other than the dirty virus/malware scans.

The first was a Common Folder opening on start up with two files in it (helper.dll and helper.sig). The Common Folder is still opening on start up although it appears to be an empty folder now.

The other issue was IE freezing on loading. That seems to be corrected now. We are working solely through Firefox and Safari now and both load quickly and with no problems.

Overall, the computer is working much better now. Thank you so much.
