    Default is it still lingering??

somebody opened a link on msn (not me lol) i think thats where it originaly started, programs at windows startup continued to open themselves repeatedly, mainly .exe files, they continued to run untill all the ram was being used and the computer just turned off.
eventually the computer wouldnt even launch windows, so i formatted using the original windows xp sp2 disc. i only formatted C:, D: i left untouched.
i didnt connect to the net untill i though i was fully protected, iv not seen anything happen since i formatted but yesterday i had a glimpse of one of the symptoms. i did a scan with my antivirus, it found nothing. i downloaded another antivirus for a second opinion and it found 2 files:

    D:\my pictures\Nokia PC Suite 6\OneTouchAccess.exe - Win32/Virut.NBL virus - cleaned - quarantined
    D:\System Volume Information\_restore{20E60856-6ADA-42BA-AD98-D14852FD3CC7}\RP38\A0013748.exe - Win32/Virut.NBL virus - cleaned - quarantined

so i did a hijackthis scan and these are the results i got, if anybody can give me any advice id be very gratefull!!

Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.
"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance) http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

Have a look at this information:
    http://free.avg.com/66558
    http://www.avast.com/eng/win32-virut.html
    http://www.ca.com/us/securityadvisor....aspx?ID=66586

We believe because of the amount of the infected files, the only viable way to clean Virut is a reformat.

    http://spyware-free.us/tutorials/reformat/
    http://www.cyberwalker.net/faqs/how-...stall-faq.html
    http://helpdesk.its.uiowa.edu/window...s/reformat.htm

Since you cleaned only part of the hard drive, it is obvious the infection is/was also on the D:\
I will say I don't see evidence of Virut in the HJT log but this is a hidden infection.

    Thanks
