Eraser

I noticed listed in the Malware Removal Guides was eraser.

Is that referencing the popular software named eraser or something else?

I've used that program for years and always thought of it as being fine.

If this is the thread, http://forums.spybot.info/showthread...ghlight=Eraser, then it's probably a malware.
If you're talking about http://www.heidi.ie/eraser/, then that's legit program. Don't be confused with those two!

could be the latter, most likely as Eraser from Heidi Computers Ltd. is practically safe and easy to use. I have that program installed on most of my computers and I can "shred" or "erase" junk files with it.
