    Default WinPatrol threat ?

On the advice of peku006 I installed and ran WinPatrol.

    See: http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.p...1&postcount=11

I then got Spybot popping up with an alert saying "Malicious software, Keylogger threat".

I panicked a bit and killed WinPatrol and uninstalled it so unfortunately didn't get the exact error message. (sorry !)

Then I calmed down, have re-installed the program again and there is no Spybot S&D error message !?

Now I trust you peku absolutely(of course) but didn't expect this to happen.

    Should I be concerned ?

Oh by the way, sorry if I'm posting in the wrong area ?

Where do I post for general queries relating to malware products ?

    Many thanks.

This could be a coincidental FP from TeaTimer (I'm assuming it is because it is Spybot's Residental Shield).

I don't think this is something you should worry about since I trust WinPatrol.

    Thanks Matt,

On the little I've divulged, do you think there is any reason for concern ?

I was just a bit suprised it came up with "keylogger".........

Oh by the way if I may ask another quick question..........
Would you be concerned if chkdsk automatically popped up after a restart, and if so what would you recommend ?

    Kind regards.

Before diskcheck starts (before login screen) you are presented with a text saying press any key to cancel it.
