sb s&d won't run

I've been using spybot for years without problem, until recently. In the last few days I've been unable to open the main program. Tea timer and the updater function running from the system tray are available and seem to function normally, however. SB will run in safe mode.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, without benefit.

I have been having many bluescreen crashes in the last few days, but these seemed to be fewer when I uninstalled SB and Ad-Aware.

Malwarebytes says I'm clean, in normal and safe mode. AVG antivirus says I'm clean. Panda anti-rootkit says I'm clean. Panda online scan blue screens the machine at about 11%. SB, in safe mode, says I'm clean. HJT looks ok to my mildly experienced eye.

Any help?

Sorry to hear of your problems.
Hm, your description of Spybot not running during Normal Boot but TeaTimer is active, hints that there may still be something lurking in your machine.

I would suggest you make a trip to the Malware Removal Forums and have a malware specialist give you the 'ok'.

thanks for the prompt reply. i'll check in on the malware forum as you suggested, once some current tests are completed.

I just completed sb s&d and found htlogtutorial from spywareinfo.com in my FF bookmarks again. I had deleted it the other day after a previous detection w/ sb s&d. so far, that's the only thing turning up.
