    Uninstalling Norton may not be easy, it can hook deep into the system.

    Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove is the normal way to remove a program once it has been stopped.

    However, I would hold off removing anything until a helper assists you in your malware forum topic.

    S/he will be the best person to guide you and give you tips for the anti virus program to suit your needs.

    Thanks for any assistance that the experts can provide
    I just used spybot to fix DoubleClick & CoreMetrics, & got a lot of registery errors, I'm thinking of restoring to prior restore point. (should I & how do I fix this).
    If im not mistaken the errors where you get "... error at ...." ae reg.
