No freezing yesterday at all. No pop ups or redirecting. SO far so good.

Well will wait a day or two, to see if you have any issues before I close this thread.

System seems to work ok when I am online but if I walk away and lock the pc the entire thing freezes up. Any idea what would cause that? Also newest Java wouldnt work. If I remove it java works but as soon as I update it again to newest version will not work.

This will get rid of the temporary files and may help.

Ran the cleaner. Restarted. All seemed well until I walked away. Noticed my screensaver was off so tunred back on. Walked away again and system was frozen. Thinking issue may be with screensaver running. When shut down to restart active desktop was gone. Any suggestions?

Let's create a restore point before doing anything.
Click start / all programs / accessories / system tools / system restore.
Then create a restore point name it anything you want. After doing so.

Then to create a mergeable .reg file follow these instructions

1) Create a new file on your Desktop with Notepad
2) Copy the information with CTRL+C from the reg file on this page starting with the line that reads REGEDIT4.
3) Paste the information into the Notepad file
4) You must hit the Enter Key to place an extra line at the end
5) Then save it as desktop.reg
6) Double click to merge it into your registry. That's it.

Completed the regedit file also did a defrag and system still freezing when left on but not in use. No longer freezes when I am using it tho.
