    The computer shutdown would have stopped the scan, I suggest you run off direct power whenever possible when running security scans.

    Update then scan with SAS and post the results.

    SAS scan states:

    Adware.Tracking Cookie [ 1 items ]
    Files
    C:\Documents and Settings\user\Cookies\vinbob@doubleclick[1].txt

    (I let SAS remove this)

    Symantec's full scan detected nothing malicious.
