Default Spybot does not detect and remove Personal Antivirus malware

    Hi Guys

Just a heads up, no doubt already aware but if not just want to let you know spybot does not detect or remove the "Personal AntiVirus" malware.

I had this on a computer and had to use Malwarebytes antimalware program to remove it, as I found spybot did not remove it.

Would spybot in the future remove this malware?

Do you still have the logfile from Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM)? Therefore, open MBAM, choose the fifth tab, open the logfile and post its content with your next answer.

    Hi there,

Actually it would be best if the log was zipped and sent to .

Has this been done yet? I'm dealing with a Personal AntiVirus infection *right now* and also used MalwareBytes to remove it. I have access to the MBAM logs and can e-mail them or post them, as needed.

    Just let me know!

    Peace...

    Thanks for the reply.

I wasn't asking for assistance with removing the Personal Antivirus infection but was asking if the MBAM logs mentioned above had already been sent in for analysis. If there was still a need for some, I've got some that I could send.

    Peace...
