Question How worried are you about Swine Flu?

With the WHO recently declaring swine flu as a pandemic and with roughly 36,000 cases confirmed (as of 15th June 2009), how worried are you about the disease?

    Interesting Links:
    - Daily situation updates (WHO): http://www.who.int/csr/disease/swine.../en/index.html
    - Watch Press conferences (WHO): http://www.who.int/mediacentre/multi.../en/index.html

Note. I do however know the limitations to this poll as anyone fearing mass extinction has most likely already left to hide in remote areas far out of reach of wifi signal making them unable to vote.

I'm kinda worried, because it appeared so quickly and spread almost anywhere. Still, I've heard that there's a mutation of swine flu. Now here I don't know anymore is at least 1 case confirmed here because some people say it's false positive.

Here in the UK we recently had our first death, but that was because the lady who sadly passed away had given birth prematurely 2 weeks before and had 'underlying heath issues' (although surely swine flu is an 'underlying heath issue' ).

T_T, it's kind of disappointing especially of what's going on in the world in general. The media wants us to know what they want us to know, they control our flow of information, some might be 'paranoid', malware writers take advantage of this, and etc.

The kids in my area make jokes about it, how mean .

Not much... it's not aggressive and doesn't change its surface area. It's not different to the "normal" flu in my eyes...
    Best regards - Beste Grüße,
