    Default Win32.Agent.Bbzv:: WordWeb Free version

    Hi,

    After recently update, TeamTimer is killing WordWeb (http://wordweb.info/free/) stating it is Win32.Agent.Bbzv.

    Symantec and TrojanHunter do not panic.

    Any inputs?

    Hi Its the same for me even on older versions of Word Web

    CA AntiSpyware does not detect Word Web as a trojan nor does Ad Aware

    You can tell Spybot not to look for Win32.Agent.Bbzv but what if you get a real one.

    Word Web is a great little program very useful.

    Everything was OK until the Spybot Update of June 24

    hello,

    this is a TeaTimer false positive that will be fixed with the detection update 2009-07-01, a restart of TeaTimer or the Computer is then required.

    When TeaTimer blocks the file you can also allow the file to be executed (also remove check mark for deletion).

    I have also had this happen, with the following message resulting:

    Process ID: 3920
    Filename: wweb32.exe
    Found in: C:\Program Files\WordWeb\
    Identified as: Win32.Agent.Bbzv

    If Spybot - Search & Destroy encounters this process again...
    * Inform me again
    Automatically kill this process
    Allow this process to run (NOT RECOMMENDED)
    (checked) delete the associated file

    I think perhaps I did the wrong thing by selecting 'Automatically kill this process' and clicked OK - and the whole of WordWeb disappeared.

    Now I'm unable to reinstall Word Web, as the process is killed immediately if I try.

    Will the new update fix this so that I will be able to install WordWeb again?

    Thank you for your help.

    PS. I am running MS Windows XP Pro SP3, AVG-Antivirus(free), ZoneAlarm(free), Spybot-S&D 1.6.2, Malwarebytes, SpywareBlaster, CCleaner.
    All updates up-to-date.
