well I got a temporary drive installed in it and installed windows into it. Upgraded all the way to SP3 and it still ran like crap. :(
Failing to see anything wrong (software wise) I decided to check the hardware. Swapping the video card solved my issue. Go figure.
Computers are sometimes pretty interesting to work with. Anyway, glad to hear the problem causer was revealed. Guess we can archive the topic now?
