How do I remove Zlob malware
Something is wrong. I thought I was following directions maybe I got them wrong. This is what I got:
"CANNOT IMPORT C:\WINDOWS\FIX.REG: THE SPECIFIED FILE IS NOT A SCRIPT YOU CAN ONLY IMPORT BINARY REGISTERY FILES FROM WITHIN REGISTERY EDITOR"
CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT i DID WRONG?
This is what I coppied into notepad:
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CLASSES\PORNOVID]
It did not look like the icon that you showed me
What did I o wrong?

You will need to include Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 to fix.reg like said in instructions. It will work after that

Shaba I am still having problems with those last directions I am still getting:

Also Ido not know how to save to my desktop. What I have been doing is saving the file in notepad too my windows folder then open the windows folder finding the file fix.reg. Right click choose send short cut to desktop. then I click on it on my desk top and this is what I get up above HELP?

Well that simply means that fix.reg isn't correct.
I like to emphasize few things:
1) Fix.reg must contain everything below exactly like shown below:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Pornovid]
2) You will have to save it as all files.
Please try again; if it still doesn't work, I will upload that for you

How do I remove Zlob malware
I meant to mention tht in Windows XP Home Edition. When saving in note pad it is asking for Encoding my choices are:
ANSI
UNICODE
UNICODE Big endian
UTF-8
This might have been my problem

Shaba I was final able to get the fix.reg, and then ran Spybot S&D again everything is removed accept Zlob.
So it might be a permission issue then.
Was it the same registry key we have tried to remove?
