    Hello there, forum members!

I would like to ask that will Spybot v2.0 support passive protection for Chrome also, just like with other common browsers? The lack of this feature is the main reason that I'm not using it.
However, I couldn't find any specific info about this, so I thought it would be the best if I ask about this here.
Anyway, can't wait for the new version to be released. I hope it will run smootly on WinXP x64 just like the latest official release, because I would like to use this type of OS for some more time. I can offer my help for testing if it's neccessary for this.
Looking forward to your reply! Keep up the good work!

    Hello,

I am sorry, but Chrome is only being supported in scanning and fixing at the moment.
It is a very new browser and chrome itself does not offer any interface for immunizing yet.

    Best regards

To add to Sandra's very informative reply, Google Chrome does offer some form of protection from its 'Safe Browsing' feature.
You can read more about it here. Of course, in an ideal world Chrome immunisation would be brilliant.

Thanks for the clarification. Then I wait for the Beta version of Spybot 2.0.

Most of size is taken by detection rules which are included in setup and by some new n' old features...
