    Hi,

    Please replace fixes.bat file with following contents and then run it as you did with previous one:
    @echo off
    regedit /a c:\regExport.txt "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings"

    Post back c:\regExport.txt contents.

    Default 2nd regexport

    Dear Blade81

    I hope you will be fine.
    Just for some background info,I downloaded this version of internet explorer from yahoo site,do you think that might be of some significance?

    Here is the 2nd regexport file:

    REGEDIT4

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings]
    "Security_HKLM_only"=dword:00000001

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Cache]

    Hi,

    Probably it was the infection that twiddled with the settings. Let's see if this works

    Save text below as fix.reg on Notepad (save it as all files (*.*)) on the Desktop.

    Code:
    REGEDIT4

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings]
    "Security_HKLM_only"=-
    It should look like this ->

    Doubleclick fix.reg, press Yes and ok.

    How're the IE settings now?

    Hi,

    I recommend to uninstall Firefox you have there and then install Firefox 3.5.2 here.
