Red face Desktop with nasty Trojans

Hi guys/gals, firstly thank you for your precious time in helping me with my problem and apologise in advance for my rather basic computer knowledge. Please...be gentle!
After running a system scan AVG Free 8.5 found various trojans most of which were deleted except for three. They were put into the vault but have since disappeared? and are now showing in the Resident Shield.
    They read as follows:
    Trojan horse Downloader.Generic8.BFNP (C:\winnt_R1.exe),
    Trojan horse Downloader.Banload.ANOT (C:\Users\Ma & Pa Dimi\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\TY32WIE3\foto049[1].com and
    Trojan horse Dropper.Generic.AOUO (F:\winlog.exe).
I then downloaded your Spybot and again 3 Trojan entries appeared which I then proceeded to 'fix' and only one was removed leaving the other 2 entries (Banker). These would not 'fix' due to administrator functions which still wouldn't fix after following instructions to change as administrator.
I've also noticed that in my C:\winnt folder the following appears? winntR2, winnt2, 3, 4, 5 6. Are these related to the Trojans, separate or not relevant?
I've downloaded both HijackThis (report below and a report was uploaded to TrendSecure on the 4/8/09) and Registry Mechanic although having problems finding the System registry box?
I hope this makes any sense to you at all, cause I'm going nuts!

    Sharni

Default Attached Malwarebyte's Anti-malware link broken

Hi ken545, I really appreciate your help

The Malwarebyte's Anti-malware link appears to be broken. Could you please resend this. I was going to search and install from independent site, but would hate to infect with new virus or Trojan - this would just be my luck!

PS I have also managed to successfully install ERUNT (FYI).

    Hi,

It looks like you may have a Rootkit infection.

Read these instructions and follow them to the letter.

Download Combofix from any of the links below. You must rename it before saving it. Save it to your desktop.

    Link 1
    Link 2
    Link 3

    * IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop

    • Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools
    • See this Link for programs that need to be disabled and instruction on how to disable them.
    • Remember to re-enable them when we're done.

    • Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.

    • As part of it's process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. With malware infections being as they are today, it's strongly recommended to have this pre-installed on your machine before doing any malware removal. It will allow you to boot up into a special recovery/repair mode that will allow us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware.

    • Follow the prompts to allow ComboFix to download and install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console, and when prompted, agree to the End-User License Agreement to install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console.

**Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will continue it's malware removal procedures.

Once the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed using ComboFix, you should see the following message:

Click on Yes, to continue scanning for malware.

When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply along with a New Hijackthis log.

*If there is no internet connection when Combofix has completely finished then restart your computer to restore back the connections.

Hi Ken545, when trying run Combofix a pop up appears as follows:

Combo Fix has detected the following real time scanners to be active:
    antivirus: AVG
    antispyware: AVG
Antivirus & intrusion prevention programs are known to interfer with Combo Fix's rnnning. This may lead to unpredictable results or possible machine damage.
Please disable these scanners before clicking OK.

The above real time scanners are still active but ComboFix shall continue to run. Kindly note that this is at your own risk.

I have followed instructions including links (thankyou) to deactivate all antivirus, antispyware, and firewall and have gone through AVG with a fine comb.
I even tried to uninstall AVG but an error report pops up reporting:
    Local machine: installation failed
Installation: Error: Action failed for registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\Windows NT\current version\Windows: creating registry key.....error 0x80070005

When initially installing Combofix I think I may have denied one of the 2 registry changes that popped up. Could this have something to do with it?

I was going to try and uninstall ComboFix and reinstall it, this time accepting all registry changes but it's not appearing in 'Unistall or change a program' to be able to do that.

Just drag it to the trash and redownload it, don't forget to rename it

I have reinstalled as instructed, and above still appears, although this time NO pop-ups for registry changes. Resident Shield in AVG is definately turned off and again I can't work out where the scanners are.
