Speed Touch 330 Modem conflicting?

Dear All,
The Thompson Speed Touch 330 modem that I have recently installed on my computer is apparently causing conflict with Spybot, i.e. it often causes the computer to crash as soon as I try to open Spybot.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem, and if so, did they mange to resolve it?

Have you installed any drivers for modem?
Does this happens when you're connected to internet or when you run Spybot-S&D Updater?

I have the same router, no problems here so must be drivers issue :s
