I just have one question, I have an external hard-drive that was connected to my PC when I first got the problem. But I've had it turned off since then. Do you know if there's any risk that there might be something on the hard-drive?

Hi,

You have AVG Anti virus installed. Turn the drive on and open My Computer, right click on that drive and you should be able to see an option to Scan with AVG.

If not than turn the drive on and open AVG and do a full system scan and make sure that the external drive is selected also. Let me know how it went, I'll keep this open for you for a few more days.

- I completed a scan of the external drive with AVG and no infection was found, so it looks OK.
