my pc shut down after clicking on an attachment /email
possibly win32/lovgate/offprov.exe

what can I do?

(running xp on dial up
only use spybot s&d and lavasoft adaware)

rozzers if you are saying you have no anti-virus program installed, the Operating System is likely heavily infected.

Do you have a Service Pack on the infected computer?
Have you updated Windows
