Default My_slave.exe alerted by AVG- please help?

Laptop Dell XPS M1330 running Windows XP pro Version 2002 sp2 . Just bought it second hand, fresh install of XP and Mozilla.

I installed AVG 8.5 Pro version trial for 30 days- will decide to either downgrade or pay $ for this one in 19 more days. AVG found my_slave.exe and I have vaulted it.

    I have removed Mozilla.

The research I have done indicates that this is a remote "control" software that could potentially be harmful. I would like to remove it, as I would use Tight VNC for any remote access.

Does anyone have any experience with this little bugger? It is showing the process name as C:\windows\system32\svchost.exe and I'm afraid to go in there willy nilly and start deleting stuff.

My local computer guru suggested combofix, but AVG warns me that it is a harmful process to run as well. So I deleted it. I'm currently stuck with a really cool laptop that I am afraid to do anything with.

Any help would surely be appreciated. Thank you for reading my post.
