Xsoft is defiantly just confused, spyware can alter a hosts file to, thats what it thinks is happening.

Is it normal for ewidoguard to now keep modifying the hosts file? Didn't do it before I ran the new hosts file but does it all the time now. Thanks for all the help!

You know its been changed for the good so have ewido/other programs ignore it.

Since the problems are solved Im going to close the topic now, this keeps others with similar problems from posting there logs/question here, they should start a new topic.
