    Default Access violation Error message?

For the last few days, when I wake my computer up from Hibernate, I get the following error message:
Access violation at address 00401C55 in module 'TeaTimer.exe'. Write of address 00000001
    What exactly is happening here?

    Hello,

Which version of Spybot do you run?
Do you have installed any other security software?

    Best regards

Thanks for getting back to me, Sandra.
I run Spybot v.1.6.2. I also have AVG v.8.5.409, Malwarebytes v.1.40, SpywareBlaster v.4.2, and Windows Defender running on my computer.

    Hello,

That's quite a lot of security. As they all have a realtime protection they can interfere with each other. You can try to disable the other programs to see if that's the problem. Or you can disable the resident TeaTimer:
    - Go into Spybot - Mode - Advanced Mode - Tools - Resident.
    - Uncheck the following: Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of over-all system settings) Active.

    Default Same error problem

    Hello there.

    I only have spybot/ Avira/ Windows Firewall.

All that I think I've done differently: I recently uninstalled and reinstalled a program (Picasa).

Now, when I open Internet Explorer I get this same 00401C55 error message.

Whilst I noted your comments to disable TeaTime, does that not affect the security of Spybot? Surely the error message means that something is causing a problem and the problem should be tackled, not the "identifier" of the problem?

    Thanks for any guidance please.

    Hello,

I have the same problem and followed your advices but the problem still stays don't understand why 'cause I've unchained the TeaTimer.

The error message appears when I put off my computer and I have to click on numerous occasions to make it disappear. It's tiring

    I use Spybot 1.6.2.46.

    Cordially

(Sorry for my English, but I'm French )
