Error trying to install version 1.6.2

I am trying to install the latest version on a new laptop. Whenever I go through the installation process I receive the following error: "An error occured while trying to copy a file: The source file is corrupted" for the files c:\Program File\Spybot-Search & Destroy\SDFiles.exe
\SpybotSD.exe
\Plugins\Chai.dll
\Includes\TTLASSH.sbs
\Help\English.chm

If I choose Ignore to complete the installation I can not run Spybot S&D.

I have downloaded this from multiple sites and tried numerous reinstalls and am still getting these same errors.

Any ideas???

If Spybot is listed in Add/Remove programs,you might want to try uninstalling it.
And then deleting the Spybot - Search & Destroy folder.It's probably located at C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy.

Then try downloading/installing it again:

C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Includes\TTLASSH.sbs

An error occurred while trying to copy a file:
The source file is corrupted.

Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation.

Could this be because I have AVG installed? - I tried a temporary deactivation of AVG..

I'm not very tech-savvy , for that I apologize.. but I'm trying to learn.

Please look to see if Spybot is listed in Add/Remove Programs,and if it is,uninstall it.
If it's not listed in add/remove programs yet,go to C:\Program Files,and rightclick and delete the Spybot - Search & Destroy folder.

Try downloading and installing Spybot again:
