MSN "who deleted you" phishing avoided still leads to Hotmail account hijacked
First off, I'll say that I've currently run a latest-version\fully updated Avira, Spybot scan without a hit so this request is a little tenuous...
The link to a site in a phishing email (using the "who's deleted you" on MSN ploy) was followed to the site but no account info was given to the site. Still, emails have been sent from the account to the contact list, propagating the phishing scan.
This leads me to conclude that some keylogger may have been installed on the system or something, otherwise how did they gain access to the account?
The Avira scan only reported a warning about a file it couldn't open and I ran this file on the jotti.org scan with nothing reported.
Any suggestions apart from changing passwords?
