Hello,

I came across a warning that my computer is infected and that I could remove the virus by downloading some software. This happened after I was doing a google search using the Firefox browser. I attempted to restart my computer but the message came up again because that browser was reactivated at restart. I eventually closed the window by clicking the "cancel" button. Neither MWB nor spybot have detected anything. All the same, I'm wary that my computer may have been infected. Briefly, this is a new PC, I purchased it July 10, 2009. It's a Compaq Presario PC.

Here is my HJT report. (And this is assuming I have a real HJT report. I went to CNet and got the HJT install.) I'm hoping that everything is allright with my computer but this is a matter of better safe than sorry which is why I've created this thread.
