Default IE and Firefox open multiple sites after clicking links from google and other searche

Seems like I've gotten a rootkit or something. Spybot and other programs not finding any problems, but my browser continually opens new webpages. Most consistently google links.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
    • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
      1. DDS.txt
      2. Attach.txt
    • Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.

Download GMER here by clicking download exe -button and then saving it your desktop:
    • Double-click .exe that you downloaded
    • Click rootkit-tab and then scan.
    • Don't check
      Show All
      box while scanning in progress!
    • When scanning is ready, click Copy.
    • This copies log to clipboard
    • Post log (attach if it's very long) in your reply.

    Thanks for the logs

    1. Download combofix and save it to Desktop
    2. Run it & follow the prompts.
    3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you (C:\ComboFix.txt). Post that log in your next reply.

    Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

If you have problems with Combofix usage, see here

    Default combofix logs

Looks like combofix found something and cleaned it up. I ran a couple of google searches for AV and clicked links and I never got a popup or redirect. I noticed the links were not manipulated from the search (which originally they were). Let me know the next step, if there is one. Thanks again for your valuable time.
